1. Basic Positions 


The West Japan Railway Group holds the motto of "evolving the connections between people, towns, and society to move hearts. To move the future." By utilizing the abundant and diverse data held by our group and linking it to real experiences at stations, stores, and local communities, we hope to continue to create and provide new value to our customers and society at large.

On the other hand, when handling such data, we will take into consideration that it is closely related to the management of our customers' important personal information, and therefore will not only comply with laws and regulations, but will also proactively take into consideration privacy and ensure transparency in order to allay customers' concerns.

 


2. About the Handling of Personal Information


In order to realize the philosophy set forth in the preceding paragraph, our group will comply with the following items regarding the handling of personal information.


(1) Respect Privacy

・When using customers' personal information, we will prioritize providing value to each customer and resolving local issues, and will not handle the information in a way that violates the privacy of individual customers. 


(2) Maintain Transparency about Privacy Practices

・When acquiring personal information, we will clearly indicate the purpose of use in advance so that customers can understand. We will also appropriately disclose the status of use of personal information.

・We will respond appropriately and sincerely to inquiries regarding customer personal information.


(3) Ensure Appropriate Collaboration with Business Partners

・We will collaborate with necessary business partners to continue providing new value to our customers and society. 

When using personal information with business partners in the course of this collaboration (including providing it to a third party, jointly using it, outsourcing, etc.), we will require the other party to handle it appropriately, including complying with laws and regulations and taking into consideration privacy.


(4) Manage Personal Information with Care

・We will protect the personal information we hold by taking appropriate organizational, personal, physical and technical measures to prevent accidents such as leakage, theft, and falsification.

 JR Service Net Fukuoka Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the company") adheres to the JR West Group Privacy Policy and recognizes that protecting personal information is a social responsibility of a company.

 We will comply with the above and handle personal information appropriately, including its collection, use, and safety management.



2. About the Handling of Personal Information


 The company will comply with the following items regarding the handling of personal information.


1. Purpose of Collecting and Using Information

    We use the personal information you provide for the following purposes:

(1) Personal information of customers

  ① To make contact necessary to provide products and services (including when requesting delivery companies to ship products, etc.)

  ② To provide information regarding products and services and other information regarding our business activities

  ③ To collect billing fees for products and services and to protect receivables

  ④ To accept orders, deliver and settle payments for products purchased through mail order sales (souvenir online shops, etc.)

  ⑤ To implement sweepstakes and campaigns (such as campaigns at Curico vending machines in stations)

  ⑥ To provide information about our products and services only with the customer's consent

  ⑧ For business analysis and market research

  In addition, in connection with the outsourcing of business, we may provide personal information acquired by our company to the extent necessary for the outsourcing of business.

   We will not provide personal information obtained from customers to third parties without the customer's consent, except for the purposes described in the "Purposes of Use of Personal Information" section or in any of the following cases:

(5) We will implement mechanisms to protect against unauthorized access to information systems that handle personal information.

(6) When outsourcing the processing of personal information, we will select the contractor appropriately, guarantee confidentiality, and thoroughly instruct and supervise them to ensure proper management.

 

5. Disclosure, Correction, Deletion, etc.

   When requested to disclose, correct, delete, etc. personal information, we will respond in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.

6. Response to Inquiries

   In all other cases, the company will endeavor to respond promptly and appropriately to any inquiries from customers regarding personal information.
